Introduction to Dads at Home

The number of men who have foresaken the workplace to care for their offspring has risen as surely as has the number of women who abandon the home for the office. For eons members of the fairer sex have struggled in their humble abodes. Juggling endless tasks such as cleaning, cooking, shopping, raising children and watching day time TV. No longer is this the case. In schools, girls are getting better grades than boys; they go on to get degrees and then good jobs. This has meant more competition for work not just in society but within families. You can, of course, get a stranger to raise your kids but not everyone can afford this luxury. Unfortunately boys are not instructed in house keeping from a young age and are not generally inclined to learn such tasks. Neither do they tend to play with plastic effigies of babies. My daughter liked to play with dolls, pushchairs and a large toy kitchen, my son played with weaponry. This site is for those men who never played at being a house keeping parent, hopefully this will give fathers the weapons they need to be a house husband.
